Explore the founding myth of the Armenian nation and the great kings of Armenia

According to the story, the Armenian nation sarted when Hayk defeated the giant Bel in combat with an arrow. Hayk is considered as the legendary patriarch and founder of the Armenian nation, and a heir of Noah.

Few centuries later, Armenia became a Kingdom, and one of the greatest king was Tigran the Great, who expended Armenia from Caspian sea, to Black Sea and Mediterranean Sea, representing the apex of Armenian border expansion. 

Both of their statues are located in Nor Nork district, where we will conduct our walking tour. 


This walking tour in Nor Nork district will be focused on the legend of Hayk and the Kings of Armenia.
